Manchester City's promising young midfielder Máximo Perrone could be set for a temporary switch to Italian side Como, as Pep Guardiola looks to accelerate the Argentine's development with regular first-team football.
The 21-year-old, who joined City from Vélez Sarsfield in January 2023, has found opportunities limited at the Etihad Stadium. A loan move to Serie A would provide Perrone with valuable experience in one of Europe's top leagues.

Newly-promoted Como, backed by owners including Cesc Fàbregas, are building an exciting project in Italy's top flight. The club sees Perrone as an ideal addition to their midfield as they look to establish themselves in Serie A.
While the deal isn't yet finalised, sources suggest negotiations are at an advanced stage. City are expected to include a recall option in case of injuries to their first-team squad.
