The 2026 TCS London Marathon saw a host of famous faces take on the 26.2-mile course through the capital, including Tilly Ramsay, Strictly Come Dancing stars, and other celebrities. The 46th edition of the race began at Blackheath and finished on The Mall, passing Buckingham Palace and Clarence House along the way.
Star-Studded Participants
Among the celebrities running were Tilly Ramsay, Charlie Quirke, James Norton, Cynthia Erivo, Jack O'Connell, and Samantha Spiro. Alexandra Burke, Nikita Kuzmin, and Kitty Scott Claus also took part. Proud dad Gordon Ramsay was on hand to cheer on Tilly, who earned a well-deserved medal.
Notable Moments
Sir Mo Farah, the legendary runner and I'm A Celebrity star, participated and even handed out water to other runners. Joe Wicks, the fitness coach, ran days after his controversial marathon fuelling comments. He posed with Daddy Pig, ending speculation that he was under the costume. Love Island star Greg O'Shea had to pull out due to injury, while Spencer Matthews, who is soon to become a father of four, completed the race.
Race Details
The elite wheelchair race started at 8:50am, followed by the elite women's race at 9:05am, and the elite men and first wave of mass runners half an hour later. It is expected that 60,000 people participated, making it one of the largest races in the marathon's history.
