Newcastle United boss Eddie Howe has heaped praise on Alexander Isak, labelling the Swedish forward as the "complete striker" after his standout performance for the Magpies.
Isak, who joined Newcastle in a club-record deal last summer, has been instrumental in their recent resurgence, showcasing his versatility and clinical finishing.
"He's got everything you want in a modern striker," Howe said. "Pace, strength, technical ability, and an eye for goal. Alexander is a joy to work with, and his attitude is first-class."
Isak's Impact at St James' Park
Since arriving from Real Sociedad, Isak has quickly become a fan favourite at St James' Park. His ability to link play, create chances, and score crucial goals has been pivotal in Newcastle's push for European football.
"When you sign a player of his calibre, you expect big things," Howe added. "But Alexander has exceeded expectations. He's adapting brilliantly to the Premier League."
What's Next for Newcastle?
With Isak in top form, Newcastle are looking to strengthen their squad further in the upcoming transfer window. Howe hinted at more signings to bolster their attacking options.
"We're always looking to improve," he said. "But having Alexander fit and firing is a massive boost for us."
