Nathan Hindmarsh Reveals Vasectomy to Debunk False Twins Rumour
Hindmarsh debunks twins rumour with vasectomy reveal

Former Parramatta Eels stalwart Nathan Hindmarsh has publicly addressed a bizarre online fabrication by revealing a deeply personal detail about his life. The rugby league icon took to his Triple M radio show to debunk a false Facebook post claiming he and his wife were expecting twins.

The On-Air Revelation

Hindmarsh, now a 46-year-old television and radio personality with Fox Sports and Triple M, read the fabricated news item aloud to his co-host Anthony Maroon and their listeners. The post declared, 'Eels legend Nathan Hindmarsh welcomes twins in the most heartwarming Parra moment of the year.' It further elaborated with sentimental prose about victories won off the field.

When Maroon directly asked for clarification, Hindmarsh left no room for doubt. 'No, my wife and I are definitely not having twins, nor am I having twins with anyone else,' he stated unequivocally. He then delivered the bombshell explanation: 'Total rubbish, because everything's been cut, tied, snipped, you name it, nothing is getting out.'

Life After a Stellar Rugby League Career

The former NSW and Kangaroos star retired from the NRL in 2012 after an extraordinary career. He holds the record for playing 330 games for the Parramatta Eels, alongside 23 matches for Australia and 17 for New South Wales. Since hanging up his boots, Hindmarsh has successfully forged a new path as a media pundit and entertainer.

He is particularly known for his comedic partnership with former Roosters star Bryan Fletcher. The duo, loved by fans for their hilarious takes on the game, recently grilled the Queensland Origin squad with a series of absurd 'psychology' questions. In one memorable exchange, player Xavier Coates listed his 'three turn-ons' as 'Cross-field kick, brunette, ravioli.'

Away from the laughs, Hindmarsh and his wife Bonnie are parents to four sons: Buster, Archie, Rowdy, and Dodge. His recent personal revelation was prompted solely by the need to correct the widely shared false information.

Showing a Serious Side

While often the funnyman, Hindmarsh has also shown his analytical side in his media role. Earlier this year, he gave a candid assessment of then-Parramatta five-eighth Dylan Brown's decision to accept a $13 million, 10-year deal with Newcastle. When asked if the Eels should drop Brown to give younger players a chance, Hindmarsh replied, 'I'm getting to that point now where it makes sense. He's not offering much at the Eels.'

He contrasted Brown's high-pressure role with his own former duties on the field, noting, 'It was easy for me to do my job, cart the ball up, tackle someone. He (Brown) has to organise the whole sh*t show that it is at the moment.' This insight demonstrates the thoughtful perspective he brings to his broadcasting work, even as a light-hearted rumour about his personal life required a surprisingly direct response.
