New Additions to the Lineup

The newly confirmed acts include A Day to Remember, Tom Morello (from Rage Against the Machine), Daughtry, Creeper, Hot Milk, and The Primals, the official band of the video game Final Fantasy XIV. Other artists joining the roster are Annisokay, Band-Maid, Conjurer, Decessus, Frozemode, Marmozets, Private School, Silly Goose, and Stampin' Ground. These performers will appear across the weekend, with A Day to Remember and Tom Morello scheduled for the Opus Stage on Sunday, June 14.

Headliners and Highlights

Linkin Park will headline Sunday's proceedings, with new vocalist Emily Armstrong making her debut at Donington, 12 years after the band's previous appearance. Limp Bizkit will kick off the festival on Friday with their high-energy rap-metal, while Guns N' Roses take the main stage on Saturday evening for their UK comeback. Organizer Comments

Download Festival's Kamran Haq said: "We're really proud of our lineup this year, and our second announcement brings further depth and diversity to DLXXIII. We have huge artists like A Day To Remember, Daughtry, Creeper and Hot Milk, as well as bringing Final Fantasy XIV's official band THE PRIMALS to Download for their very first show outside of Asia. And due to popular demand, Miss World Chile - Ignacia Fernández - will be performing with her band DECESSUS after surprising the world with her incredible death metal vocals a few months ago. We have even more surprises to come, and tickets are selling out faster than ever this year, so this is your last chance to snap up the final remaining tickets."

The festival is set to be another brilliant start to summer, with fans eagerly anticipating the full experience at Donington Park.
