Curtis Jones Urged to Leave Liverpool for Serie A Success
Curtis Jones Told to Quit Liverpool for Inter Milan

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones has been told he would flourish in Italy should he decide to leave Anfield this summer. The England international's future at the club has been a subject of speculation since the January transfer window, and rumours persist as the summer window approaches.

Interest from Inter Milan

Reports earlier this year indicated that Serie A side Inter Milan were keen on signing Jones on loan, with the possibility of a permanent transfer. Jones is contracted to Liverpool until 2027, meaning he will soon enter the final year of his deal, fueling speculation about a potential departure.

Former Inter forward Antonio Cassano has weighed in on the situation, suggesting Jones would thrive if he swapped Liverpool for the Italian giants. Cassano even predicted that Jones would be "better" than former Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay, who has prospered at Napoli since leaving Old Trafford nearly two years ago.

Cassano's Verdict

"Curtis Jones for Inter? He would be an excellent signing, he's a pacey midfielder, he's a Champions League-oriented player," Cassano said on Viva El Futbol. "He'd be better than McTominay. He has great quality and at Liverpool he won a lot playing, unlike some who are World Champions but never played."

Jones has been an integral figure for Liverpool under Arne Slot over the past two seasons, making 46 appearances this campaign. However, he is still waiting for his first Premier League goal this season, with his only strikes coming in FA Cup wins over Brighton and Wolves.

Liverpool's Summer Plans

Liverpool are already preparing for the departure of at least two first-team regulars, with Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson leaving when the season ends. Speculation also surrounds Alisson Becker's future, with Juventus reportedly monitoring the Brazilian goalkeeper.

Jones' future remains uncertain, with no indication of a contract extension for the academy graduate. Whether he stays or moves to Italy, the coming months will be crucial for the midfielder's career.
