Jimmy Fallon's 'On Brand' Cancelled by NBC After One Season

NBC has cancelled the unscripted series 'On Brand With Jimmy Fallon' after just one season. The show, which was created, hosted and executive produced by The Tonight Show host, followed Fallon as he launched a marketing agency filled with creative go-getters.

Fallon was joined by former Netflix marketing chief Bozoma Saint John, who served as the agency's Chief Marketing Officer and mentored contestants. The series featured contestants working with major brands including Captain Morgan, Dunkin', KitchenAid, and Samsung to develop high-priority campaigns.

The show struggled in the ratings and had an unusual rollout, airing on both Tuesdays at 10pm and Fridays at 8pm before NBA coverage took over some slots. The winner, Bianca Fernandez, received a $100,000 cash prize, a feature in Adweek, a trip to Cannes Lions, and the title of Innovator of the Year.

Fallon had heavily promoted the series, including a trip to the Cannes Lions advertising festival in France. Despite the cancellation, Fallon continues to work on other projects, including a Wordle game show with Savannah Guthrie and the third season of 'Password'.
