Jimmy Bullard's I'm A Celeb Row Sparks Legal Threat

Former Premier League footballer Jimmy Bullard has found himself at the centre of a storm following his appearance on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa. The 44-year-old was involved in a heated confrontation with actor Adam Thomas, which Bullard claims was not fully aired. He accused Thomas of 'abusive, aggressive and intimidating' behaviour, allegations that were rejected by hosts Ant and Dec and other campmates.

Bullard, who hails from East Ham, London, played for clubs including Wigan Athletic, Fulham, Hull City and West Ham. After retiring from football, he transitioned to television, co-presenting Soccer AM and appearing on shows like Celebrity MasterChef. He also runs a pub with his father and his own business, Jimmy Bullard Ltd, with an estimated net worth of £3.5 million.

The row escalated during the finale, with Thomas being crowned winner. Bullard claimed Thomas used 'c-bombs' that were not broadcast. When asked for their opinion, Ant McPartlin disagreed, stating, 'No it wasn't, I was there.' Bullard is now reportedly considering legal action against ITV. An ITV spokesman said, 'We showed an accurate and fair representation of events.'

Fellow contestants David Haye and Sinitta also weighed in, with Haye accusing the show of editing footage to make Thomas look like a 'victim'. Gemma Collins called Bullard and Haye 'disgusted with themselves' on Instagram. Bullard's partner Diane, to whom he is engaged, has largely stayed out of the spotlight. The couple have two children, Archie and Beau. Archie is making a name for himself in motorsport, competing in the GB4 Championship, a feeder series to Formula 1.
