Andrew Demands Payout for Ex-Wife Sarah Ferguson After Eviction
Andrew Demands Payout for Sarah Ferguson After Eviction

Prince Andrew has reportedly made a significant demand on behalf of his former wife, Sarah Ferguson, following their eviction from Royal Lodge earlier this year. The couple, who divorced in 1996 but continued to live together, saw their reputations damaged due to their association with the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Eviction from Royal Lodge

The pair had resided at the Windsor property since the early 2000s. Calls for their eviction intensified last year, leading King Charles to take action and remove his brother and former sister-in-law. Sarah's whereabouts after the eviction remain unknown, though she was briefly spotted in Austria.

Financial Demands

According to reports, Andrew is seeking hundreds of thousands of pounds from the Crown Estate after his lease was cut short in February. Additionally, he is demanding a payout for Sarah, who has since left the country. The Daily Mail reported that Andrew has begun a "fight back," feeling he has been "used as a scapegoat."

Lord Benyon, the Lord Chamberlain, is now acting as a mediator between the King and Andrew, as Charles is reportedly unwilling to meet his brother face-to-face.

Trooping the Colour

The news comes after King Charles attended the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony in London, joined by other senior royals. Andrew was notably absent, along with his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. The balcony appearance included the Prince and Princess of Wales, their children, the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, Princess Anne, Sir Timothy Laurence, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

Andrew has not been charged and denies any wrongdoing. Being named in the Epstein files does not imply guilt.
