In the latest season of Clarkson's Farm, Jeremy Clarkson faced a heartbreaking decision regarding his rare Oxford Sandy and Black pigs. After sending some to slaughter, he discovered the breed has too much fat, making the meat only suitable for sausages. Realising the financial impracticality, he sold his remaining stock and gave his breeding sows to a local educational farm.
The emotional farewell was highlighted by a flashback montage set to Cat Stevens' 'Father and Son', which moved Clarkson to tears. Fans took to social media to express their sorrow, with one writing: 'Watching Jeremy Clarkson cry over his pigs broke me down.'
However, viewers were left with a pressing question: what happened to Richard Ham, the tiny pig named after Clarkson's former Top Gear co-star? Despite being a major character in season four, he was absent from season five, leading to fears he had been slaughtered off-camera.
Reports online suggest Richard Ham is safe. A Reddit user claimed: 'Nothing happened to Richard Ham. Someone kept him... he is, in fact, still with us.' The pig was reportedly seen at FarmFest in late May, putting fans' minds at ease. Metro has contacted Jeremy Clarkson for confirmation on Richard Ham's whereabouts.
