Graham and Delevingne roasted for Met Gala interviews

Ashley Graham and Cara Delevingne have been brutally roasted over their 'abysmal' and 'awkward' Met Gala 2026 red carpet interviews. The models co-hosted Vogue's red carpet coverage ahead of the coveted fashion event, along with La La Anthony, and spoke to a slew of the star-studded guests as they made their way down the red carpet. But many viewers felt that they were not the right fit for the job while they chatted with the celebrity attendees.

X, formerly Twitter, was flooded with negative posts about their coverage. One person complained that the outlet should have hired 'real fashion journalists' to cover the event, while another called their interviews 'painful to watch.'

'If only they hired real fashion journalists for these interviews… Ashley and Cara are just saying anything there,' one user wrote. 'Vogue Met Gala live interviews with Ashley and Cara are abysmal,' slammed another. 'Asking about who people are wearing as an afterthought... Cara keeps talking about herself.'

'Cara and Ashley are so boring,' a third person chimed in. 'Ashley and Cara?! What’s going on? They have been super awkward,' read a fourth post. A fifth said: 'That interview was painful to watch,' referring to the duo's chat with actor Connor Storrie. 'And not because of Connor. I love Cara and Ashley but it was so awkward.'

'Who the f**k picked Ashley and Cara to host this stream?' asked a different user. 'Ashley Graham and Cara Delevingne are completely terrible at interviewing,' penned someone else.

During their interview with Storrie, they asked the Heated Rivalry star if he was nervous since it was his first time attending the Met Gala. But as he was answering, Delevingne cut him off to talk about her first Met Gala. 'Weirdly, I wasn't ever nervous my first year,' she said, which prompted Storrie to ask what the theme was. Delevingne admitted that she could not remember before Graham chimed in and tried to turn the spotlight back on Storrie by asking what he did to prepare for the ball.

'It was just a bunch of conversations with my stylist James,' he said. But then Graham interrupted him to yell out, 'Hi James!' Graham and Delevingne went on to ask the star what designer he was wearing, as he revealed his stunning ensemble was made by Saint Laurent.

The two models were also mocked over a very interesting question that they asked Amanda Seyfried on the red carpet. Graham asked the actress if she drinks milk from her new pet donkey, but referred to the animal as a male. Seyfried was quick to point out that male animals do not produce milk before confirming that no, she had not consumed any of her donkey's milk.

'Ashley Graham asking Amanda Seyfried if she drinks her make donkeys milk has me cringing! Like ask her about her dress,' one X user slammed afterwards. 'That was a dumb question Ashley Graham asked Amanda, why would she say, "Do you drink his milk?" talking about a male donkey?' wondered another. 'Ashley Graham has to the worst interviewer... like let that woman talk, stop asking Amanda Seyfried if she drinks donkey milk,' scathed someone else.
