Body Found in Search for Missing USF Students; Roommate Arrested

Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the disappearance of two University of South Florida (USF) doctoral students after the remains of one were discovered. Zamil Limon's body was found on the Howard Frankland Bridge, while the search for Nahida Bristy remains ongoing. Both students, originally from Bangladesh, were reported missing on April 17.

Arrest and Charges

Limon's roommate, Hisham Saleh Abugharbeih, was taken into custody on Friday following a domestic violence call that led to a barricade situation. He faces preliminary charges including domestic violence battery, false imprisonment, tampering with evidence, failure to report a death, and improper removal of a human body. A motive has not yet been identified.

Ongoing Search

Deputies continue to search for Nahida Bristy and urge the public to report any sightings. They have stated there is no indication yet of whether she has been harmed. The investigation is active, and authorities are pursuing all leads.
