79 UK Victims Named in Kenneth Law Poison Case

Canadian national Kenneth Law has admitted charges of aiding suicide after selling lethal substances online. The 60-year-old entered guilty pleas in an Ontario court on Friday, with victims spanning the globe, including dozens in the UK.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) and Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) confirmed that 79 UK victims died directly from purchasing Law's products. Prosecutors restricted some identities to initials. Among the named victims are Ben Lake, 50, found dead at home on March 22, 2021, and Rachel Jordan, 38, discovered by her partner on July 1, 2021.

Other victims include Tom Windsor, 29, who called 999 saying he had ingested poison and 'does not want to die' before dying on July 10, 2021, and Hannah Boggett, 20, who died in hospital on July 15, 2021, four days after ingesting poison sold by Law. A 14-year-old, Henry Tucker, was found dead in his bedroom by his parents on October 27, 2021.

Further victims include Neha Raju, 23, found dead in her student accommodation on April 10, 2022, and Megan Davidson, a 21-year-old maths student at Lancaster University, who died on May 16, 2022 after telling friends she had taken 'the pill'. Samuel Whitaker, a 19-year-old Warwick University student, died on June 6, 2022 after being found collapsed outside his halls.

The full list of 79 victims was read in court, with ages ranging from 14 to 53. Law's sentencing is pending.
