Tommy Fury and Future Brother-in-Law Forge Strong Bond at Hyrox London Event
Tommy Fury has showcased his iconic sprint finish once again, this time alongside his future brother-in-law Danny Rae, as the pair participated in the gruelling Hyrox London event. The 26-year-old boxer and Danny Rae tackled the high-intensity challenge, which spans six days and involves eight strength workout stations interspersed with 1km runs. This collaborative effort comes amid signs that Tommy and Molly-Mae's sister Zoe have cleared the air after past tensions.
Sweat and Smiles: A Display of Friendly Competition
Snaps shared by Tommy from the event day reveal him and Danny bonding through friendly competitiveness. Posing together in matching outfits, both men appeared sweat-drenched but beaming with big smiles. Tommy affectionately referred to Danny as his 'brother' in the posts, highlighting their growing closeness. Molly-Mae, who is pregnant with her and Tommy's second child, proudly watched the action before joining Tommy for a supportive snapshot.
Family Support and Mended Relationships
Zoe, Molly-Mae's sister, also showed her support by resharing Danny's post on her official Instagram account with a message: 'Smashed it today. Think someone's got the bug.' This likely refers to Tommy, who revealed to fans that this was his very first Hyrox event. The gesture indicates a significant thaw in relations, as Zoe was reportedly furious at Tommy after his split with Molly-Mae and opposed their reunion.
However, the fractured relationship appears to have healed, with Danny Rae recently offering insight into their tight new bond. He mentioned that the two couples enjoy simple activities together, saying, 'We just like being in each other's company and just spending time together.' He added to The Sun that 'Sunday roasts always go down well.'
Fresh Start and Family Acceptance
Following the pregnancy announcement, Zoe and Molly-Mae's mother, Debbie Gordon, has welcomed Tommy back into the family fold. Sources indicate that the family has decided to no longer discuss previous relationship issues, which centred around Tommy's previously undisclosed alcohol problem. A source explained, 'Like Molly, they have had a U-turn and fully accepted him back in their lives.' They emphasised that Molly's happiness is paramount, and if she is content with Tommy, they will embrace it as a fresh start. 'They want to forget about everything that happened and it's basically been agreed that they will never mention it again,' the source added.
Molly-Mae's Nesting and Renovation Projects
Meanwhile, Molly-Mae has been enjoying her nesting period, sharing updates on renovation works at her and Tommy's £5 million Victorian mansion. The couple purchased the seven-bedroom home in 2024 and have been busy restoring it. Recently, Molly-Mae began work on the guest bedroom and bathroom, sharing snaps of the room before removing furnishings and carpet for a new look. Despite the bathroom appearing almost brand new, she decided to rip it out, with builders removing tiles and sinks.
In a humorous twist, Tommy's gaming chair survived the gutting of the spare room, much to Molly-Mae's disappointment. She joked that it might have to stay due to its durability. After moving back in with Tommy following their shock split, Molly-Mae has been documenting the renovations on Instagram. Her stunning bedroom features an oak four-poster bed, wall panelling, and floor-to-ceiling curtains in muted white tones. The lavish room also includes a seating area with a built-in TV, an arch shelving unit, and a fireplace awaiting installation.
Back in November, Molly-Mae explained that the room was 'nowhere near finished yet,' mentioning she had ordered a new light and revealed a secret door to her ensuite. She shared, 'I didn't really plan this but you're getting a first sneak peek of one of the new rooms in the new house.' She added that she was still waiting for artwork and frames, and had picked up items like popery and a dark bowl with fake oranges to fill shelves.
