Quadruple Amputee Cornhole Pro Arrested in Maryland Shooting Death
In a shocking incident in Maryland, a 27-year-old professional cornhole player and quadruple amputee has been arrested for allegedly shooting and killing another man during an argument. Police report that Dayton James Webber was driving his Tesla SUV in La Plata when he shot his passenger, 27-year-old Bradrick Michael Wells.
Details of the Alleged Crime
According to authorities, the shooting occurred while Webber was in his vehicle. After the incident, he allegedly pulled over and requested assistance from two backseat passengers to remove Wells from the car. However, the passengers refused, fled the scene, and subsequently contacted the police. Webber then fled with Wells still in the vehicle.
The body of Bradrick Michael Wells was later discovered in a yard on Newport Church Road in Charlotte Hall, Maryland. Wells was pronounced dead at the scene, while Webber was eventually located by law enforcement at a hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Investigation and Charges
Dayton James Webber is now awaiting extradition to Charles County, Maryland, where he faces first- and second-degree murder charges. Police have not yet provided an explanation for how Webber, who has no limbs, managed to fire a weapon or dispose of the body.
In a statement, Charles County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Diane Richardson said, 'It's early in the investigation, but there's no evidence to suggest anyone else was involved in the shooting and that he acted alone.'

Webber reportedly became a quadruple amputee as an infant due to a severe blood infection. His arms were amputated just above the elbows, which allows him to pin objects between his upper arms. This unique ability enabled him to pursue a career as a competitive cornhole player, and he joined the American Cornhole League in 2023.
In addition to his sports career, Webber is described as an avid outdoorsman. His case has drawn significant attention due to the unusual circumstances surrounding his physical condition and the alleged crime.
