Trump Threatens to Obliterate Iranian Infrastructure in Latest Social Media Rant
Trump Vows to Destroy Iran's Power Plants and Bridges

In a fiery and provocative post on his Truth Social platform, former US President Donald Trump has escalated tensions with Iran by issuing a direct threat to annihilate the nation's critical infrastructure. Trump vowed to "knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran" if the Iranian government refuses to accept what he described as a "very fair and reasonable DEAL."

Trump's Ultimatum to Iran

The threat comes in response to recent incidents in the Strait of Hormuz, where Trump alleged that Iran fired bullets, including some aimed at a French ship and a UK freighter. He characterised this as a "Total Violation of our Ceasefire Agreement," though details of such an agreement remain unclear. Trump stated, "That wasn’t nice, was it?" before declaring, "NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!"

Negotiations and Blockade Claims

Trump revealed that his representatives are en route to Islamabad, Pakistan, for negotiations, scheduled to arrive "tomorrow evening." He also commented on Iran's announcement about closing the Strait of Hormuz, claiming it is redundant because a US blockade has already sealed it. According to Trump, this closure costs Iran $500 million daily, while the US incurs no losses. He added that many ships are now heading to US ports in Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska to load up, attributing this shift to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) always wanting to be "the tough guy."

A History of Unfulfilled Actions

In his post, Trump criticised previous US administrations, suggesting that decisive action against Iran should have been taken "for the last 47 years." He framed his threat as a necessary step, stating, "IT’S TIME FOR THE IRAN KILLING MACHINE TO END!" and signed off as "President DONALD J. TRUMP," despite no longer holding office. The message underscores his continued hardline stance on foreign policy, particularly regarding Iran, and raises concerns about potential escalations in the region.
