Jamie explained their motivation, stating, "We aimed to create a show that isn't just about drama but is wholesome, humorous, and portrays a true, raw journey. We decided to be completely real, unlike many who claim to show their lives but hold back. Having cameras around became normal for us, so we captured everything, despite the fear of judgment."
Sophie echoed this sentiment, noting, "As a reality TV fan, I've noticed many shows feel staged. We wanted to bring back that rawness by pretending the cameras weren't there."

Sophie also spoke out against the unrealistic expectations placed on new mothers regarding "snapping back" after childbirth. She highlighted the double-edged sword of public judgment, saying, "Whether you've snapped back or not, people will comment. It shouldn't even be a topic. My focus is on Ziggy, and that's liberating—I speak more kindly to myself now."
The series, commissioned by Executive Director Sean Doyle and produced by Dorothy St Pictures in association with Jampot Productions, follows the couple's journey since their 2023 wedding. It explores Sophie's pregnancy and the balancing act of their professional lives.

This comes after Sophie expressed gratitude for Jamie in a social media post, sharing sweet glimpses into her life as a new mother.
