Reality television personality Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi made her first public appearance in New York City on Tuesday since revealing her stage one cervical cancer diagnosis earlier this year. The 38-year-old Jersey Shore star was spotted at ABC Studios alongside fellow cast members while promoting the upcoming final season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.
Emotional Health Update Shared with Fans
Back in February, Polizzi delivered an emotional health update to her followers through a TikTok video, disclosing her diagnosis but offering positive news that the cancer had been "caught early" and was "curable." The mother of three explained she had been dealing with abnormal pap smear results for several years before the diagnosis was confirmed.
"I'm 38 years old and I've been struggling with abnormal pap smears for three or four years now," Polizzi told viewers. "Instead of putting it off because I didn't want to go, because I was hurt and scared, I just went and did it. And it was there, cancer is in there. But it's stage 1 and it's curable."
Stylish Appearance During Promotion Activities
For her New York City outing, Polizzi showcased a fashionable ensemble consisting of a black tank top paired with a black leather miniskirt. The ninth and final season of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation is scheduled to premiere on May 7, marking the conclusion of a franchise that began with the original MTV series running from 2009 to 2012. According to a press release obtained by Variety last month, the farewell season will consist of 18 episodes celebrating "major life milestones, laugh-out-loud chaos, and the unfiltered chemistry that defined an era of reality television."
During her time in New York, Polizzi also attended the Broadway production Titanique on Monday evening with several co-stars. For this more casual outing, she wore light blue denim jeans with a black top and fuzzy leather jacket. Inside the St. James Theatre, she posed with a Playbill alongside cast member Angelina Pivarnick and later shared outfit details on her Instagram stories.

Polizzi's cancer journey began with concerning pap smear results that eventually led to a cone biopsy revealing adenocarcinoma. She has been transparent about her medical procedures, including a colposcopy and biopsy that confirmed the presence of cancerous cells on her cervix.
"I'm terrified. It's scary, but we have to get it done because cervical cancer is nothing to joke about," she admitted to fans while discussing her diagnosis.
The television personality has since begun consulting with an oncologist and is considering a hysterectomy while planning to preserve her ovaries. Throughout her health challenges, Polizzi has emphasized the importance of regular medical check-ups, particularly urging women to prioritize pap smears and cervical cancer screenings.

Polizzi received overwhelming support from her Jersey Shore colleagues following her diagnosis announcement.
