Rylan Clark has disclosed that he underwent a 'traumatic' and 'very invasive' facial procedure, after being questioned about his appearance on his BBC Radio 2 show. The 37-year-old presenter, tipped to host Strictly Come Dancing, admitted to having a 'tweakment' during the broadcast on Saturday.
Clark, who has previously spent £25,000 on veneers and had lip fillers and Botox, was prompted to reveal his latest work by colleague Sally Boazman, 76. She asked if he had 'gone under the knife', to which Clark replied: 'Weirdly, I had something done yesterday, which was, ugh, such a trauma, I'm not gonna lie, what I had done.' He declined to elaborate on air, describing it as 'quite invasive on the face'.
A source told the Daily Mail that Clark has had fillers. Clark also mentioned discussing cosmetic work with his mother Linda, joking that he would not spend £30,000 on her face. Boazman commented that she had 'earned her wrinkles', and Clark agreed, saying: 'There's nothing wrong with wrinkles, I like my wrinkles.' Boazman retorted: 'You haven't got a single one! I'm looking at your face, not a single one.'
Clark, a former X Factor contestant, has had 'bits and bobs' of cosmetic surgery over the years. He previously admitted to having 'gone too far' with some work but stated: 'I don't regret anything I've done. I'll probably still have more things done.' In 2024, he amused fans by responding to a police e-fit that resembled him with the quip: 'Wasn't me.'
