Maya Jama Shares Holiday Glamour Amidst Home Security Concerns

Maya Jama offered fans a glimpse of her luxurious holiday lifestyle through an Instagram Story on Sunday, showcasing her natural beauty while relaxing in an exotic location. The 31-year-old Love Island host appeared makeup-free with her brunette hair in loose curls, wearing a skimpy green bikini as she lounged in the sun. The television presenter seemed to be enjoying a perfectly relaxing day, though she did not reveal her exact whereabouts in the post.

Absence of Partner Ruben Dias Noted

Notably, Maya appeared to be without her boyfriend, Manchester City footballer Ruben Dias, during her holiday posting. This comes amidst ongoing security concerns following a traumatic burglary at their £4 million Cheshire mansion earlier this year. The couple were reportedly devastated after thieves ransacked their property in January while Ruben was playing an away game in Turkey and Maya was filming Love Island: All Stars in South Africa.

Enhanced Security Measures Implemented

Following the burglary incident, which saw thieves steal thousands of pounds worth of designer clothes, jewellery, and electronics, the couple have taken significant steps to strengthen their home security. Despite already having state-of-the-art security systems in place, they have reportedly hired a Strongbox 24-hour security team to live in their garden as an additional deterrent.

A source revealed to The Sun: 'The couple asked a security firm to come in and assess the property and the suggestion was that having live-in round the clock guards would act as a great deterrent. Lots of footballers have private fitness coaches, chefs, drivers – and now are adding security guards to the list.'

Emotional Impact of the Burglary

The burglary has had a profound emotional impact on the couple, who had only recently moved into the Omaze prize-draw mansion in Alderley Edge. A source close to the couple explained at the time: 'They are devastated, the house is the first they have moved into as a couple and is very special to them. Thankfully, neither was at home, but they are very upset that their personal space has been invaded.'

The source added: 'Maya was very proud to move into her first home with Ruben and took lots of videos and pictures while in the house which she posted on her social media. Previously in their relationship, she was back and forth from London and he was living in a city centre flat. That's why this property means so much to them.'

Property Details and Police Investigation

The ultra-modern property, which boasts 6,300 square feet with four bedrooms, panoramic views, landscaped gardens, and a luxury indoor leisure suite, was reportedly available for rent at approximately £20,000 per month. Originally won by mother Emily Ward through a £25 Omaze ticket, the mansion remains listed in her name as the property owner.

Cheshire Police confirmed they received reports of the burglary shortly after 11:10 PM on Wednesday, January 28th, at an address on Woodbrook Road in Alderley Edge. Officers attended the scene and confirmed entry had been made to the property with numerous items stolen. Enquiries remain ongoing, with police urging anyone with information to come forward.

As Maya enjoys her well-deserved holiday relaxation, the couple continues to navigate the aftermath of the burglary while implementing comprehensive security measures to protect their cherished home.
