West Ham United vice-chair Karren Brady has returned to screens for the new series of The Apprentice, with viewers stunned by her dramatic body transformation. The 56-year-old, who became a grandmother for the second time in September, has been praised for her 'amazing' new look, though some fans questioned whether she had used weight-loss drugs like Ozempic.
Brady has denied those claims, insisting her weight loss is the result of hard work and a healthy lifestyle. She also credited a skin-tightening treatment on her arms, called Exion, which uses radiofrequency and ultrasound to boost collagen and elastin. 'I never thought I’d be able to wear short sleeves again, but after a course of Exion skin-tightening with radio frequency, I can!' she said on Instagram.
The Conservative life peer, who was appointed to the House of Lords in 2014, said her motivation came from becoming a grandmother. 'I became a grandma, and I wanted to be a fit healthy grandma, so I started eating healthy and exercising,' she told the Daily Mail. 'I haven't joined the Ozempic Club - bloody hard work. It is okay losing it, it is keeping it off.'
Fans have flooded Brady with compliments, with one comparing her to Jennifer Lopez, while another said: 'For a second, I really thought it was a different person.' A third added: 'You look amazing but like a completely different person. As long as you feel good, that’s all that matters.'
