Belfast Couple Embarks on Limitless Win Adventure

A married pair from Belfast, Louise and Ciaran, aged 34 and 38, are set to feature in the upcoming episode of Ant and Dec's Limitless Win, expressing their excitement over this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The ITV gameshow, hosted by the renowned duo Ant and Dec, has returned for its fifth series, with the network emphasizing that the stakes are higher than ever.

Game Mechanics and High Stakes

Contestants on the show compete in pairs, answering questions where they must provide numbers lower than or exactly matching the correct answer. They risk lives based on the difference, and to stay in the game, they must avoid depleting these lives or giving a number above the correct answer. With each correct response, they can secure accumulated cash, with the potential to win a limitless jackpot, as one couple previously claimed £1,000,000.

ITV has highlighted that Limitless Win continues to break new ground, offering a unique, never-ending money ladder across six hour-long primetime shows. The format pushes contestants to their limits as they vie for a life-changing fortune.

Contestant Insights and Strategies

Louise, a languages teacher, explained their motivation for applying: "We love the show! It is our favourite thing to watch on a Sunday night. We always play along together." Ciaran, a senior business associate, added: "We enjoy watching quiz shows at home, but we knew that actually being on one of our favourite shows would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience."

The couple revealed their distinct game strategies. Louise admitted: "My strategy is to rely on Ciaran as I'm hopeless with conversions! I am more impulsive and emotional. Ciaran is calmer and thinks more logically. However, he is a risk-taker, and I would be more risk-averse." Ciaran elaborated: "My strategy is learning information like metric conversions to apply across different questions. I've spent a lot of time measuring things around the house!"

Dreams for the Prize Money

Discussing their aspirations, Louise suggested the prize could help expand their family, fund home improvements, and treat their daughters to a family holiday. Ciaran shared his own dream: "I love horse-racing, so I've always wanted to own a racehorse or be part of a syndicate."

Hosts Ant and Dec have previously expressed their support for contestants, with Ant telling Metro: "I'd be lying if ITV didn't say they were nervous but we're on the side of the contestant, we want them to go as high as possible. Part of you, as the host of the show, we want to give away the most TV show [money] ever given away in the world."

Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win continues this Sunday, 15th February, at 8:00pm on ITV1, ITVX, STV, and STV Player.
