"On the eve of my big birthday, loved ones gathered for an unforgettable weekend in my happy place," Larter wrote in her social media caption. She expressed gratitude to her friends and husband for planning the special occasion, adding, "I was overwhelmed by the joy, laughter, shared love, and beautiful connections." The actress concluded her post by calling it "one for the memory books" with her "heart overflowing."

Bikini Scenes Are "Least Favourite" Part of Acting
In a January interview with People magazine, Larter admitted that filming bikini scenes for Landman is her "least favourite" aspect of the job. "I don't think there's an actress alive that's like, 'Woo! Got a bikini scene!' Nobody wants to do it," she revealed.
The actress explained the psychological challenge these scenes present: "I've got to spend all this time fighting off my own insecurities, my own anxiety, to be able to put on that bikini and walk into these scenes." Despite her discomfort, Larter approaches them professionally, stating, "It's just part of the story that I'm telling, and I'm an actress, so I get on board."
Rigorous Fitness Regimen for Role
To maintain the physical appearance required for her Landman character, Larter follows a demanding fitness routine. "I work really hard, okay? I'm not pretending that I don't," she said last year. Her regimen includes early morning runs starting at 4:30 AM and a protein-heavy diet.
"I try to eat very clean, but I eat. I'm one of those protein mommies. I eat so much protein, all day long. It works for me," the actress explained about her nutritional approach to staying camera-ready.

Despite the challenges of her role, Larter finds playing Angela Norris "freeing" because the character's fearless personality differs so much from her own. "Angela walks through life without the fear of judgement of others. She makes up her own rules," Larter observed, noting that such behavior would be difficult in real life while adhering to societal norms.
The actress has even taken some of her character's wardrobe items as souvenirs, including cowboy boots from Leddy's, an Agent Provocateur bra from episode seven, and a pair of Wrangler jeans.
