Claudia Oshry has been taking GLP-1 medications to shed the weight gained during pregnancy. The influencer, known for her Girl With No Job social media presence, welcomed her first child, son Reuben, with husband Ben Soffer in May 2025. She began using the medication in December of the same year.
Prior to her pregnancy, GLP-1s had already helped her lose 70 pounds, making her a strong advocate for the treatment. The 31-year-old told People that it was comforting to know the medication would be available after childbirth. 'As I was pregnant and as I was breastfeeding, I was like, 'That is waiting for me on the other end.' And I feel like it actually really helped me be present,' she shared while announcing her partnership with Dulcolax for their new Daily Gut Support Gummies.
Oshry expressed satisfaction with her decision to use GLP-1s, noting a significant boost in self-confidence. 'There were times where I used to look in the mirror and literally hate my body. And now I look at it and I just feel really proud,' she told People. She added that the postpartum recovery period has been longer than expected: 'People say you start to feel like yourself after three months, four months. It's really like eight. And I think now I feel good.'
Becoming a mother has also shifted her perspective. 'Nobody's perfect. But I will say, becoming a mom definitely healed a little part of that. Now I look at my body, I'm like, 'Okay, well, slay,'' she said. The Toast host noted that she no longer feels as critical of herself: 'I've done a lot and I don't feel so critical of myself anymore. Obviously, I have my moments, I can't lie, but for the most part, I feel really well.'
Oshry's collaboration with Dulcolax focuses on their Daily Gut Support Gummies, a magnesium-based supplement. 'I've taken their products many times over the years. And so to work with them is like a dream partnership,' she said. She emphasized her preference for low-effort wellness routines: 'I go through eras. And I feel like I'm in a bit of a slower era since I had the baby… just not focusing so much on me.' Even outside her 'health girl era,' she prioritizes hydration and sunlight: 'Even when I'm not in my health girl era, I try to drink a lot of water, I try to drink a lot of electrolytes, and I try to get a lot of sun. As long as I'm feeling good and having my energy up.'
She also defended her use of GLP-1s against potential criticism. 'I feel like it's popular to hate it. Sorry, that's never gonna be me because I have such a positive, life-changing experience with it,' she stated. 'I feel like people love to focus on the people who abuse the drug — skinny people are taking it and they shouldn't be. That's so not what's really happening for the majority of people though. We're not talking about the people whose lives are changing who can, you know, for the first time in years go take their kids to the park.'
