RFK Jr. and Kid Rock's Unconventional Workout Video Goes Viral

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has ignited a social media storm by posting a workout video featuring musician Kid Rock. The 90-second clip, shared on Tuesday afternoon, showcases the pair engaging in various physical activities while promoting a message of health and fitness.

A Montage of Fitness and Controversy

The video begins with Kennedy, 72, and Kid Rock posing shirtless, followed by the title "Secretary Kennedy and Kid Rock's ROCK OUT WORK OUT." It then transitions into a montage that includes scenes of them eating, sitting in a car, and holding a U.S. flag before moving to a gym for their workout session.

Throughout the video, the duo is seen using stationary bikes and performing push-ups in a sauna, with Kid Rock notably flashing his middle finger at the camera. Kennedy is also shown submerging himself in a tub while wearing jeans, a detail that has drawn particular attention online.

Mixed Reactions Flood Social Media

The video quickly prompted a wave of mixed reactions from social media users. California Governor Gavin Newsom's press office shared a screenshot with the caption: "Is this after toilet seat #2 or #3?" This references Kennedy's recent admission on a podcast that he used to "snort cocaine off of toilet seats."

Alyssa Farah Griffin, co-host of "The View," expressed her bewilderment on X, writing: "What the [bleep] did I just watch?" Others focused on Kennedy's choice of attire, with one user joking: "Not the jeans in the gym and sauna!"

Kennedy has previously defended wearing jeans during workouts, stating last year that it started as a matter of convenience and he has since grown accustomed to it.

Promoting Health with a Political Twist

The video concludes with the Department of Health and Human Services logo alongside the slogan: "Make America Healthy Again," echoing political campaign themes. The department itself re-shared the video on X with the caption "BawitMAHA," a playful nod to Kid Rock's 1999 hit song "Bawitdaba," which soundtracks the montage.

In the video, Kennedy and Kid Rock are also seen playing pickleball and relaxing in a pool, where they drink glasses of milk as the words "WHOLE MILK" appear on screen. Kennedy's caption emphasized their collaboration: "I've teamed up with @KidRock to deliver two simple messages to the American people: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD."

Kid Rock, known for songs like "All Summer Long" and "Cowboy," is a long-time supporter of the Trump administration, adding a political layer to the video's release. The Independent has reached out to Kennedy's office for comment on the online reaction, but no response has been provided yet.
