Kim Kardashian's Brain Scan Reveals 'Low Activity' Amid Chronic Stress
Kim Kardashian's Brain Scan Shows 'Low Activity'

Reality television star and business mogul Kim Kardashian has publicly disclosed the surprising and concerning results of a recent brain scan, which identified notably low brain activity. This revelation comes shortly after she shared that doctors had discovered a brain aneurysm that has been present for years.

A Shocking Diagnosis on Screen

During the latest episode of her family's reality show, The Kardashians, the 45-year-old SKIMS founder met with celebrity doctor Dr. Daniel Amen. It was during this consultation that she received the unexpected news about her brain health. Dr. Amen's analysis of the brain imaging technology showed that Kardashian has 'low brain activity', a result the star initially refused to accept.

'That just can't be. It just can't. [I'm] not accepting,' Kardashian responded when given the diagnosis. Dr. Amen attributed this low activity, particularly in the frontal lobes, to the effects of chronic stress. Kardashian herself suggested this stress stemmed from two major life events: her intensive studying for the California Bar Exam and her divorce from rapper Kanye West.

Positives, Holes, and Hidden Dangers

Despite the worrying findings, the scan did offer some positive news. Dr. Amen claimed that Kardashian does not have a high risk of developing Alzheimer's disease. Based on the brain images, he also stated that she is 'not terribly stressed, not anxious and not depressed', and even praised her, saying, 'You are extraordinary in being positive.'

However, the doctor pointed out that he noticed 'holes' in her brain scan, which he said indicated areas of low activity. 'The front part of your brain is less active than it should be,' he told her, explaining that this could make it harder for her to manage stress, a significant concern given her current endeavours.

This episode follows a previous one where Kardashian confided in her sister, Kourtney, about a separate medical discovery. She revealed that a Prenuvo scan had detected an aneurysm in her brain that doctors said had 'been there for years'. She consulted brain surgeon Keith Black, who reportedly warned that 'just stress' could cause the aneurysm to rupture.

Connecting the Dots and Looking Forward

Kardashian directly linked the immense pressure she is under to both her health revelations. The stress from her legal studies and the ongoing fallout from her 2022 divorce appear to be taking a tangible toll. This context adds a deeper layer to the recent news that she failed the California Bar Exam she took in July 2025.

Confronted with the brain scan results, Kardashian acknowledged the need for action. 'I got to get on a plan to really figure this out because I have some s*** to do this summer,' she declared on the show, indicating her intention to address her health and stress levels head-on.
