Reality television star Helena Sauzier and her husband, Olympic gold medallist Tom Slingsby, have announced the joyful arrival of their second child, a baby boy.
A Cherubic New Arrival
The couple, who wed in 2023, shared their happy news with followers on Instagram this Monday. Helena Sauzier, 30, posted a tender black-and-white photograph capturing the serene moment she cradled her newborn son. The image showed the cherubic infant, named Luca, nestled safely in his mother's arms.
Alongside the picture, the new mother of two penned a heartfelt caption expressing the family's overflowing love. "And yet again, our hearts double in size. When 3 becomes 4," she wrote. "We are soooo in love with you Luca."
Flood of Congratulations from Friends and Fans
The announcement was swiftly met with an outpouring of warm wishes from fellow celebrities and fans. Prominent journalist Melissa Hoyer commented with excitement, writing "Wow! Huge congratulations!" and adding prayer hand and heart emojis.
Fellow The Bachelor alumna Brittany Hockley offered her warmest regards, stating: "Congratulations you guys – he is divine and a lucky boy!" Another star from the franchise, Chelsie McLeod, who won Matt Agnew's season, also shared her joy, calling the baby a "Delicious little squish."
Expanding Their Young Family
This new addition makes the couple a family of four. Helena and Tom welcomed their first child, a son named Leo, in 2023. They introduced their "little lion cub" to the world with an equally adorable image of him sleeping peacefully on a couch.
The pair tied the knot in a romantic ceremony aboard the superyacht Ghost II in February 2023. Helena rose to fame on season seven of The Bachelor Australia, where she was a finalist vying for the heart of astrophysicist Matt Agnew. She later appeared on Bachelor in Paradise.
Her husband, Tom Slingsby, 41, is a decorated sailor with an illustrious career. He is a Medal of the Order of Australia recipient and won an Olympic gold medal in the Laser class at the London 2012 Games. His sailing accolades also include acting as strategist for the America's Cup-winning Team Oracle USA in 2013 and skippering the winning yacht in the 2016 Sydney to Hobart race.
