A routine hunting trip turned into a nightmare for a Florida doctor after a massive eight-foot alligator launched a vicious attack, leaving him with severe injuries.
The terrifying ambush occurred late on Tuesday near the St. Johns River in Florida's Brevard County, a region known for its significant alligator population. The victim, a 69-year-old medical professional, was hunting for frogs when the reptile struck without warning.

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the doctor was wading through swampy waters around 11 PM when the enormous predator clamped down on his leg. The struggle that followed was nothing short of horrific.
"The subject was attacked by an approximately 8-foot alligator while frogging," confirmed the FWC in an official statement. "The subject was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries."
