Water Conservation Appeal
In response to the hot weather, Uisce Éireann has appealed to farms, households and businesses in several areas to conserve water. The utility urged the public to use water wisely to maintain supplies during the heatwave.
Impact and Advice
The high temperatures pose risks of heat stress, especially for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and young children. Authorities advise staying hydrated, avoiding prolonged sun exposure, and checking on neighbors. The warnings may also affect outdoor events and agriculture, with farmers advised to manage livestock and crops accordingly.
