Tyler West Bids Farewell to Lorraine for New Radio Role

In a significant change for the popular ITV morning show, a beloved team member has officially departed. During Thursday's broadcast on January 22, host Lorraine Kelly emotionally said goodbye to entertainment news anchor Tyler West, whose final episode has already aired.

Strictly Star Moves to Breakfast Radio

The 29-year-old Strictly Come Dancing alumnus is stepping away from his television role to focus on a major new opportunity. Tyler West has secured the prestigious position of KISS FM Breakfast host alongside Love Island's Chloe Burrows, making it impossible for him to continue presenting the 9:30am segment on Lorraine concurrently with his demanding radio commitments.

At the conclusion of Thursday's programme, a visibly moved Lorraine Kelly admitted she 'couldn't bear' to see Tyler leave and expressed how much she would miss his presence on the show. The Scottish presenter, 66, bid an emotional farewell to the radio DJ who had become a familiar face to her loyal audience over his tenure.

In response, Tyler reassured Lorraine that he would return to visit the programme at some point in the future. He had previously been presenting afternoon shows on KISS but has now secured this coveted morning slot.

Exciting New Chapter for Tyler West

Speaking enthusiastically about his new role, Tyler declared: 'KISS FAM! The mornings are gonna be unreal! Taking over from my boys Jordan and Perri is huge… but trust me I'm ready to bring it! It's time for big laughs and bigger tunes. KISS is where home is – this is your new breakfast show where the door is always open. It's gonna be carnage!'

Vogue Williams Announced as Replacement

Meanwhile, producers have already lined up Tyler's successor on the ITV morning programme. Vogue Williams has secured the entertainment news presenting gig following her recent stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!

The 40-year-old star was reportedly inundated with attractive offers after leaving the jungle at the end of 2025, but has now committed to a weekly slot on Lorraine. Announcing the news on her My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Vogue confirmed: 'I am going to be reporting the entertainment on Lorraine every Wednesday. So that will be good.'

Familiar Face Returns in New Capacity

While Vogue Williams has previously appeared on the show during fashion segments, this upcoming role marks her first official regular position on the television programme. She became the third celebrity to exit the I'm A Celeb camp in early December, finding herself in the bottom two alongside fellow model Kelly Brook before her elimination.

Lorraine's Emotional Return Following Personal Loss

The personnel changes come as Lorraine Kelly recently returned to her presenting duties after a brief absence following the devastating death of her father. On January 10, the television presenter announced that her dad John had passed away at age 84 with an emotional tribute to his memory.

During her absence, Christine Lampard, 46, stepped in to host the programme, interviewing guests including Gareth Gates, 41, Fred Sirieix, 53, and Alan Titchmarsh, 76, in the studio. Upon her return, Lorraine discussed a finger prick blood test for Alzheimer's diagnosis with Dr Amir, who began their segment by offering condolences for her loss.

Lorraine responded gratefully to the support, saying: 'I'm okay. I'll tell you what, everybody's messages, cards, you know, you've all been so kind. Everybody here, of course, it is like a family, have been amazing, you just have to go through the process. Anybody that's been there knows how tough it is. But it really does help, you see the real kindness in people, and that has been lovely.'

Lorraine continues to air weekdays on ITV1 and remains available for streaming on ITVX, maintaining its position as a staple of British morning television despite these recent changes to its presenting team.
