Peaky Blinders Film Reveals Star-Studded Cast for 2026 Release
Peaky Blinders Film Cast Revealed for 2026

Fans of the iconic British drama Peaky Blinders have been given a thrilling update, as the highly anticipated film spin-off has unveiled its glittering cast list ahead of its release next year. Titled Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, the Netflix production promises to bring back the Shelby clan with a bang, featuring a mix of beloved original stars and exciting new Hollywood talent.

A Stellar Line-Up Joins the Shelby Ranks

The film will see the triumphant return of Cillian Murphy as the iconic Tommy Shelby, picking up the story four years after the television series' finale. He will not be alone, with the cast bolstered by major new additions. Academy Award-nominated actor Barry Keoghan (Saltburn) and sci-fi star Rebecca Ferguson (Dune) are set to join the fray. They will be alongside celebrated British actor Stephen Graham and returning favourites from the series including Sophie Rundle, Tim Roth, and Ned Dennehy.

Rebecca Ferguson, new to the Peaky Blinders world, described signing on as a "no brainer," citing her long-standing desire to work with Cillian Murphy. She admitted to the Radio Times that entering such a well-established world with a profound following was "quite scary" but a huge honour.

Tommy Shelby's Final Reckoning

The plot synopsis sets the stage for a dramatic conclusion. Tommy Shelby will be driven back to Birmingham from his self-imposed exile, forced to confront his past. The official description teases his "most destructive reckoning yet," with the future of both his family and the country hanging in the balance. Tommy must decide whether to confront his legacy or destroy it completely.

Creator and writer Steven Knight promised an "explosive chapter" and "full-on Peaky Blinders at war," while Cillian Murphy expressed his gratitude to be collaborating again with Knight and director Tom Harper, calling the project "one for the fans."

Release Dates and Future of the Franchise

Mark your calendars: Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man will arrive in select cinemas on 6 March 2026, before becoming available for streaming globally on Netflix from 20 March 2026. The first-look poster echoes the series finale, showing Tommy Shelby atop his horse.

Furthermore, the Shelby saga is set to continue beyond the film. The BBC and Netflix have confirmed two new Peaky Blinders series are in development. These will jump forward in time to 1953, following a new generation of Shelbys in a Birmingham rebuilding after the Blitz. While Cillian Murphy is confirmed as an executive producer, it is not yet known if he will appear on screen. The new chapters will be filmed at the Digbeth Loc. Studios in Birmingham, firmly rooting the story in its iconic city.

With a blockbuster film on the horizon and a new television generation waiting in the wings, the global phenomenon of Peaky Blinders is far from over. By order of the Peaky Blinders, the story continues.
