Former glamour model Katie Price has resurrected her infamous Jordan persona for a bold new comedy film that promises to blend historical drama with modern female empowerment.
Return of an Alter Ego
Katie Price makes a striking return to her Jordan roots in the newly announced comedy spoof 'Jackie The Stripper'. The 47-year-old media personality appears in a brief but memorable cameo as a character named Lisa, who serves as a mentor to the film's protagonist.
Director Michael Head generated significant buzz when he released the trailer on his Instagram this Tuesday, giving fans their first glimpse of the highly anticipated project. The film represents Price's most significant acting role since her 2017 appearance in the cult disaster movie Sharknado 5: Earth O.
Star-Studded Cast and Intriguing Plot
Price joins an impressive ensemble cast that includes Pussycat Dolls star Kimberley Wyatt, 43, and TOWIE's Chloe Meadows, 34. The film's lead role of Jackie is played by 33-year-old actress Charlotte Kirk.
The story unfolds across two timelines, beginning in London's Whitechapel district in 1888 during the terrifying reign of Jack the Ripper. According to the official synopsis, the Ripper leads a secret organisation called The Court, with only one man, John Grey, standing against his tyranny.
The narrative then jumps to modern day, where a group of female assassins led by Jackie plan to dismantle The Court through a series of strategic hits. The trailer showcases the women taking revenge on male clients who visit their strip clubs, using their lingerie and dance moves as weapons of empowerment.
Multiple Projects and Future Appearances
Beyond her film work, Katie Price maintains a busy schedule with upcoming theatrical commitments. In April, she will appear in an Easter pantomime production of Pinocchio opposite former EastEnders star Bobby Davro.
Producers have confirmed that Price will share the role of the fairy with former Casualty actress Amanda Henderson across the tour dates. The show begins in Northwich at the end of March before travelling to Sevenoaks, Clacton, and Northampton, with Easter weekend performances scheduled at Oldham's Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Industry sources suggest Price could earn a five-figure sum for her pantomime appearance, comparable to her previous theatre engagements. This continued diversification demonstrates Price's enduring appeal across multiple entertainment platforms.
