The iconic I'm A Celebrity Cyclone trial is back and has been described as "more epic than ever," with the powerful waves ripping costumes off the contestants. In tonight's episode, all five remaining celebrities will take part in the challenge. At one point, the water becomes so frantic that one campmate "lost his trunks."
Celebrities Dress as Safari Animals
Scarlett Moffatt, Harry Redknapp, Mo Farah, Adam Thomas, and Craig Charles are dressed as the 'big five' safari animals for the trial, a twist on the Australian version where participants typically dress as superheroes. Before the trial begins, host Ant McPartlin promises the group: "It's more epic than ever!"
While the Cyclone appears fun, it takes place on a steep hill and looks more challenging than usual. With water and giant balls battering the famous faces, at least one celebrity lost parts of their costume.
Costume Mishaps and Reactions
After the trial, Scarlett reveals that one of the boys "lost his trunks right at the beginning!" She later clarifies that she meant Craig's "trunk" was lost, as he was dressed as an elephant for the trial. Harry, participating at age 79, comments: "I think I've swallowed a gallon of water." This is the first time Mo Farah and Craig Charles have taken on the Cyclone, but Scarlett insists it was "better than Australia."
The Cyclone Trial and Show Finale
The Cyclone is often cited as the trial most celebrities want to participate in. After the Cyclone, one more campmate is set to leave the show tonight, leaving the final four to take part in a live episode tomorrow. The live final is expected to be a lively event, with Adam Thomas coming face-to-face with David Haye, with whom he had a falling out in camp, and Jimmy Bullard, whom he argued with when the former footballer quit the series.
Other stars expected at the live final include Gemma Collins, Sinitta, and Ashley Roberts. The public will vote for the final four before a new I'm A Celebrity 'Legend' is crowned by hosts Ant and Dec.
I'm A Celeb...South Africa airs on ITV and ITVX at 9pm tonight, with the grand final on Friday at 7.30pm.
