Good Morning Britain (GMB) presenter Juliet Dunlop has confirmed her departure from the ITV programme after ten years, prompting an outpouring of support from fans and colleagues. The Scottish broadcast journalist, known for her on-the-ground reporting across the UK, announced her exit following a restructuring at the network.
Dunlop, who previously worked for BBC News and STV News, shared the news on LinkedIn in November 2025, stating: 'After a decade on the breakfast beat, my time at Good Morning Britain is drawing to a close. It has been such a privilege to have had access to so many interesting people and places, and to have worked with such skilled and talented colleagues.' She added that restructuring at ITV meant change was coming.
In a video message after her final shift in December, Dunlop said: 'Well, that's it from me, my last report for Good Morning Britain. It's been such a privilege working with so many hard-working, talented people over the last ten years. I wish all my colleagues the very best of luck.' She expressed gratitude to those who had shared their time with her, signing off with 'goodbye for now.'
Fans took to social media to express their disappointment, with one writing on X: 'Disappointed to learn that the excellent reporter @julietdunlop has left @GMB, after company restructuring. The ultimate professional, turning out in whatever weather Scotland could throw at her.' Another commented: 'Aw sad news, loved Juliet. Wish her all the best.'
Dunlop's career included a brief stint as an English teacher in Livingston before returning to journalism. Her departure marks the end of a decade-long tenure during which she reported from diverse locations, including alongside penguins, pandas, and politicians.
