Emmerdale's Robron Face 'Huge Consequences' After Corriedale Crossover
Emmerdale's Robron Face Fallout From Corriedale Crossover

Emmerdale fan favourites Aaron Dingle and Robert Sugden, known as 'Robron', are set to face dramatic fallout from the soap's landmark crossover with Coronation Street. Actors Danny Miller and Ryan Hawley have exclusively revealed that the 'Corriedale' special episode will trigger huge consequences for the recently reunited couple well into the new year.

A Spectacle With Lasting Impact

Speaking ahead of the episode, which features a major car stunt putting lives in jeopardy, both actors teased the scale and significance of the event. Ryan Hawley, who plays Robert, promised 'a big spectacle' where multiple storylines collide, serving as a climax for the year's drama. Danny Miller, portraying Aaron, emphasised that the consequences of the crossover would spill over into 2026, forcing the pair to navigate the aftermath together.

Danny Miller hinted that the episode's events would lead to new material for the popular duo, stating: 'The consequences of what happens in this, they will have to sort it out between them.' He suggested viewers would be kept guessing about what precisely leads into the carnage, with plenty of 'twists and turns' along the way.

Expect the Unexpected

Both stars were tight-lipped on specifics but urged fans to prepare for surprises. Ryan Hawley advised: 'Expect the unexpected. There's lots of things that are going to surprise people in the episode.' Danny Miller joked about the involvement of 'a couple of cars', alluding to the high-stakes stunt at the episode's core.

Comparing 'Corriedale' to previous Emmerdale stunts like the 2016 Hotten Bypass crash, Miller noted the increased scale, calling it 'a celebration of both soaps'. He also praised director Duncan Foster for applying his 'own magic dust', taking the narrative in unexpected directions.

Danger, Jeopardy and Villainous Husbands

In the lead-up to the crossover, Ryan Hawley confirmed that Robron would face 'lots of suspense, danger and jeopardy'. The aftermath, teased by Miller, will see the couple forced to work as a unit, with Aaron exasperatedly saying 'oh Robert,' while Robert insists, 'I'll sort this.'

The interview also touched upon the characters' separate storylines with their villainous husbands, John Sugden and Kev Townsend. In a light-hearted moment, Miller confessed to preferring Kev because 'he's nice' and needs a hug, while John is someone he'd avoid. Hawley concurred, summarising: 'Kev is redeemable, John is not!'

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays. The 'Corriedale' crossover promises to be an unmissable event with ramifications that will reshape Robron's relationship for the foreseeable future.
