Daisy Edgar-Jones & Robert Pattinson Film Tense Scene for Netflix Heist Thriller
Edgar-Jones & Pattinson Film Netflix Heist Movie in New Jersey

Filming is officially underway for the highly anticipated Netflix heist thriller 'Here Comes The Flood', with stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Robert Pattinson spotted on set in New Jersey this week. The pair were seen shooting a tense scene outside a supermarket, marking the first public glimpse of the project in production.

On-Set Details and Star-Studded Cast

The actors were photographed in Paterson, New Jersey, on Wednesday, seemingly in the midst of a dramatic confrontation. Edgar-Jones, the 'Normal People' breakout star, looked chic in a tan suede coat, wide-leg jeans, and a pink scarf. Pattinson, meanwhile, was dressed in character, wearing a white apron with the name 'Noah' over a striped shirt and a denim jacket.

The film, announced in May last year, boasts an impressive cast. Pattinson and Edgar-Jones are joined by the legendary two-time Oscar winner Denzel Washington. The project is directed by Fernando Meirelles ('The Constant Gardener') and written by Simon Kinberg ('Mr. & Mrs. Smith').

A Busy Schedule and New Fatherhood

Production for 'Here Comes The Flood' began in September and will continue in locations including Jersey City, Atlanta, and New York City, with an expected wrap date in January next year. For Robert Pattinson, this is the latest in a string of major projects, following recent roles in 'Mickey 17' and the upcoming 'The Odyssey' for Christopher Nolan.

Off-screen, Pattinson recently opened up about his life as a new father. He and his fiancée, model Suki Waterhouse, welcomed their first child, a daughter, in March last year. In a candid interview, the 'Twilight' and 'The Batman' star expressed his surprise at the joys of parenthood.

'I have so much more patience,' he told ICON magazine. 'I genuinely enjoy hanging out with babies. That surprised me.' He also charmingly admitted to being obsessed with his daughter's unique scent, stating he could identify her from other babies.

The couple, who announced Waterhouse's pregnancy during a festival performance in November 2023, have largely kept their child out of the public eye, sharing only a single cover photo with British Vogue.
