Claudia Winkleman's Tartan Triumph & Traitors' Turmoil Ahead of Wednesday's Episode
Claudia Winkleman wows in tartan as Traitors drama builds

Claudia Winkleman has once again cemented her status as the undisputed monarch of The Traitors castle, captivating fans with a series of stunning new behind-the-scenes photographs released ahead of this week's episodes.

Claudia's Castle Couture

The iconic host, renowned for her signature smoky eye and poker-straight hair, showcased her formidable style in preview images from the hit BBC show. In one striking shot, Winkleman commanded attention while perched on a distinctive green leather armchair, gazing directly down the camera lens.

Her ensemble was a masterclass in eclectic chic: an oversized black jumper adorned with a playful duck print, paired with sophisticated grey tartan trousers and classic brown brogues. For scenes filmed outside the imposing Scottish castle, the television favourite layered the look with a crisp white duffle coat and swapped the brogues for a pair of chunky black boots.

Fallout from the Roundtable

The stylish previews come hot on the heels of another dramatic roundtable banishment. In Friday's episode, Fiona was sent packing after a failed attempt to expose fellow contestant Rachel as a Traitor.

The tension had been simmering since a previous day's fiery confrontation. It erupted after Rachel disclosed that the banished Amanda Collier had confided in her about being a retired police detective. Fiona publicly declared she didn't believe Rachel and later accused her of being a Traitor in front of the entire group.

Reflecting on her exit during an appearance on This Morning with hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, Fiona offered a surprising analysis. "When I look back, I had my reasons. Rachel has played the game magnificently," she stated. "I knew I would never have an opportunity to win."

She admitted her move was "spectacularly the wrong decision," yet bafflingly claimed she was "90% sure she [Rachel] was telling the truth." Fiona concluded that entering an already-strong alliance between chosen Traitors Rachel and Stephen made her "a thorn in their side," leading to her inevitable departure. "What's done is done, I was rightfully booted off!" she conceded.

The Body Count Rises

Fiona joins a growing list of departed players. The banished so far include Amanda, Ross, Hugo, and Judy. Meanwhile, the Traitors' murderous spree has claimed Reece, Maz, Ben and Netty, thinning the ranks of the Faithful.

With Stephen and Rachel still secretly scheming as the remaining Traitors, the game is poised on a knife-edge. Viewers won't have to wait long to see the next chapter of deceit and deduction unfold.

The Traitors continues with a new episode this Wednesday at 8pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
