ITV viewers have a 'must-watch' show to enjoy on Friday night as Bradley Walsh and his son Barney return for a brand new series of Breaking Dad. The beloved father-son duo are back on the road for series seven, which premieres tonight, Friday 1 May 2026, at 7:30 PM on ITV1, ITVX, STV, and STV Player.
An Epic Australian Adventure
In the new series, the Chase legend, aged 65, and his 28-year-old son head down under for an epic Australian adventure. Across six episodes, the duo will explore the sweeping wilderness and coastal thrills of Australia. True to form, Bradley will get anything but the rest and relaxation he dreams of, as Barney has crafted a jam-packed itinerary full of adrenaline-fuelled challenges designed to push his dad to his limits in the Australian outback and beyond.
Episode One Highlights
In the first episode, the pair visit Sydney, taking in iconic sights like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. They embark on a terrifying aerobatic flight that takes its toll on Bradley, but the day ends on a nicer note when he arranges an exclusive and unique dinner. Later, they leave the city for the beautiful Blue Mountains, famous for their spectacular scenery. However, Bradley's fear of heights is again tested when they ride an extreme cable car.
In an early preview clip, the duo are seen at Manly Beach, a popular surfing spot on Sydney's northern beaches known for its stunning golden sands. Barney uses the moment to hilariously wind up his dad.
