Harriet Webb and Pam Ferris have joined the cast of Amandaland for its second series, set to premiere on BBC One on 6 May.
Webb will play Abs, described as a straight-talking woman who is Mal's ex-wife and JJ's current wife. Ferris portrays a frail neighbour whose desirable house attracts the attention of Amanda, who quickly befriends her.
The new series explores themes of downsizing and the challenges of modern teenagers, with Amanda navigating these difficulties alongside her mother.
