I'm A Celeb: Adam Thomas Cries After Jimmy Bullard Row

I'm A Celebrity Erupts in Dramatic Confrontation

An explosive row between Waterloo Road actor Adam Thomas and former footballer Jimmy Bullard left their campmates in shock on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa. The heated exchange occurred after Bullard's actions nearly resulted in Thomas's premature eviction from the jungle, prompting the actor to break down in tears.

Bushtucker Trial Sparks Tension

The drama unfolded during a Bushtucker trial where Thomas and Bullard were paired together. Bullard, who was seen watching the challenge beforehand, told his team, "Boys, I don't think I've got it in me." He then apologised to Thomas before shouting the show's iconic phrase, "I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here," which abruptly ended the trial for everyone.

This meant all contestants had to forfeit the stars they had won, and initially, both Thomas and Bullard were slated to depart. Thomas, visibly furious, stormed over to Bullard and yelled, "Taking the f****** piss, are you taking the f****** piss? I'm in there getting covered in f****** ants." Bullard responded by telling him to "calm down" and described his outburst as "pathetic."

Campmates Intervene with Unanimous Vote

Because Bullard had not attempted the challenge, hosts Ant and Dec intervened, allowing the campmates to vote on who should stay. They unanimously chose to keep Thomas in the show, deeming it unfair for him to leave. Upon hearing the decision, Thomas burst into tears and said, "I appreciate that, guys. Thank you and I'm so sorry the way that I acted as well, it was just emotions are really running high."

Bullard's Emotional Departure

Speaking about his decision to leave the camp, Bullard reflected, "What a kerfuffle. Letting Adam down's a killer. He's my boy. He's just on a different journey to me. He wants to win it. He wants to do well and I get it." He added, "I've got my mum and dad at home as well. The old man ain't too well. People think I'm a bit out there and I give it to people – it doesn't necessarily mean that you're ready for them trials. I struggled so much. It's got harder and harder. Unfortunately, my time was up in the game."

Bullard's departure comes just before the eagerly-anticipated series finale on Friday, during which the public will vote to crown the "ultimate legend 2026." I'm A Celebrity... South Africa airs at 9pm on weeknights on ITV1, STV, ITVX and STV Player.
