Big Brother fans believe they have spotted an editing blunder involving a water bottle that appeared to change locations before disappearing. The incident occurred during a scene aired on October 6, following a fallout between Rochelle and Pauline.
As housemates Sam and Philip were in the garden, eagle-eyed viewers noticed a blue water bottle near Frankie and Omar. Screenshots shared in a Big Brother fan group on social media appeared to show the bottle standing up, then falling over, and finally vanishing altogether during one conversation.
Viewers share screenshots of the bottle
One viewer posted several screenshots and wrote: "Did anyone else notice this little blooper tonight... Editing blooper ....notice the blue drinks bottle on the floor ..... on the floor it appears standing up ...falls over ......then it disappears all in one apparent conversation outside .... weird."
They later added: "EDIT ...Its not that deep.....I dont have too much time on my hands its a bit of fun sharing a simple blooper observation....no need to attack me personally its JUST FOR FUN REMEMBER FUN."
Mixed reactions from fans
Some fans praised the observation, with one commenting: "Yes i played it back to make sure i weren't tripping i was saying oh look there is a ghost in there." Another suggested: "its all edited. they need to edit so they can fit the days event into an hour slot." A fourth viewer noted a similar editing issue with feathers placed in Rochelle's bed.
However, not everyone was convinced, with some attributing the bottle's movement to "wind." One person said: "It fell over and rolled off," while another echoed: "I thought I saw it fall while they were talking."
Fourth live eviction tonight
The discussion comes ahead of tonight's episode (October 9), which will feature the fourth live eviction of the series. Pauline and Rob face the public vote after a round of face to face nominations. Voting lines remain open until later this evening, with betting odds suggesting Pauline is most likely to leave. Big Brother continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
