EA FC 27 Destined for Glory Team 2 leaks, predictions and launch time

EA Sports will release Destined for Glory Team 2 into EA FC 27 Ultimate Team tonight (Friday, October 2) at 6pm BST, with leaks hinting that Erling Haaland and Marc Cucurella are among the new player items.

The first campaign of the year began on launch day last Friday (September 28), as Destined for Glory arrived in EA FC 27. After the promo's first squad was released, a number of previously announced player items were omitted, effectively confirming a second batch of cards.

Release date and time for Destined for Glory Team 2

While the game has plenty of new features to learn, the Ultimate Team schedule remains the same. Destined for Glory Team 2 will land in FUT at the traditional time of 6pm BST tonight (Friday, October 2).

At that point, Destined for Glory Team 1 player items will no longer be available in packs, so gamers need to act fast if they hope to pack the upgraded Kylian Mbappe card revealed last week.

Confirmed players in Destined for Glory Team 2

Earlier this year, during the run-up to EA FC 27's launch, EA Sports revealed five players confirmed to be a part of the first FUT promo of the game's cycle. However, only three of them arrived last week during Team 1's release, leading to confirmation in all but name of a second squad of players.

Thanks to the official teaser, we already know two of them. Both confirmed players are Premier League stars at big-name clubs. One is Manchester United winger Bryan Mbeumo, who has been handed an 86-rated card, and the other is new Tottenham midfielder Mateus Fernandes, who has been rated at 85 overall.

Leaks, predictions and upgrades for Team 2

Leakers and insiders have hinted at a number of major new arrivals to the promo. Interestingly, many of them are players who earned a big transfer during the summer window ahead of the new football season.

Insiders claimed to have confirmed a number of players involved in the second squad of Destined for Glory players. Among those expected to be available are:

Trying to predict the rest of the squad isn't simple because Destined for Glory is based largely from a community vote. But because many chosen so far have been the subject of huge transfers - or are players who already have made an impression at their current clubs - there are a few that spring to mind.
