90 Day Fiancé Star's Infant Death Ruled 'Non-Accidental' in Disturbing Twist
90 Day Fiancé Star's Baby Death Ruled 'Non-Accidental'

The tragic death of 90 Day Fiancé stars Leida Margaretha and Eric Rosenbrook's infant daughter has taken a deeply disturbing new turn. Authorities have reportedly determined the five-week-old baby's death to be "non-accidental," according to official documents obtained by multiple media outlets.

Official Determination Revealed

According to TMZ, Margaretha's attorney Taylor Hart confirmed the results of an initial assessment conducted by Wisconsin's Adams County Health and Human Services Department. The report indicates there is "a preponderance of the evidence to substantiate maltreatment of physical abuse to the infant by the mother," as reported by Starcasm.

This development comes despite Margaretha's previous denials of responsibility for the death of her daughter Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, who passed away last summer. The Daily Mail has reached out to both Margaretha's attorney and the Adams County Health and Human Services Department for comment but has not yet received a response.

Timeline of Tragedy

The infant's death occurred under particularly troubling circumstances. Rosenbrook was arrested for domestic battery and domestic disorderly conduct on July 5, 2025, after allegedly slapping Margaretha while she was holding their child on July 4.

The child was found unresponsive later on July 5 while Rosenbrook was reportedly in jail. After being placed on life support for five days, Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook died on July 9, 2025. It remains unclear whether the violent altercation between her parents played any direct role in her death.

Rosenbrook expressed his devastation on Facebook the following day, writing: "It destroys me and shatters my world to announce that over the weekend, tragedy has struck. Yesterday at 12:53 PM, after 5 days on life support, my beloved daughter, little Alisa Eleanor Rosenbrook, slipped the surely bonds to join her grandfather Tom."

Ongoing Investigation

Despite the "non-accidental" determination in the initial assessment, the investigation into the infant's death continues. The report specifically notes that no criminal charges have been filed in relation to the baby's death at this time.

According to Starcasm, the "non-accidental" death determination was previously included in the 90-Day Summary Report for Child Death, Serious Injury or Egregious Incident. The most recent Six-Month Final Summary Report repeats this same determination.

Margaretha's Distressed Social Media Post

On the day her daughter was found unresponsive, Margaretha made a desperate plea on social media. According to Us Weekly, she wrote: "Dear God… You can take away my life, but do not take away my daughter's life… She just born."

The 36-year-old continued after mentioning her daughter's health struggles: "God… If this is going to be my lesson to appreciate life since I've been struggling with suicidal thoughts then take away my trauma… Help. Me. Find. Peace. Help. Me. Forgive." She reportedly deleted the post soon after.

Legal Troubles Mount

This latest development follows Margaretha being charged with 24 felony counts in Wisconsin in January. The reality star, whose relationship with Rosenbrook was featured on 90 Day Fiancé's sixth season in 2018, faces serious legal challenges.

Her charges include seven counts of bail jumping, six counts of wire fraud, ten counts of forgery, and one count of stealing over $10,000 from a business. According to TMZ, Margaretha allegedly committed these crimes between November 2023 and March 2024.

Margaretha had previously been arrested for allegedly jumping bail in September 2025. She was also charged with one count of bail jumping last summer after failing to update her phone number with the court in a separate pending criminal case.

Additional Legal Entanglements

Court documents obtained by the Daily Mail indicate Margaretha was scheduled for a court hearing on February 18 in Juneau County. In late July, she filed a petition for legal separation from Rosenbrook after seven years of marriage, though the filing was later dismissed.

She was granted a temporary restraining order against Rosenbrook, alleging he had been abusing her since their 2018 marriage. This is not Margaretha's first encounter with legal authorities.

Early last year, she was arrested and charged with domestic disorderly conduct and mistreatment of an animal in Wisconsin. She was also charged with two counts of identity theft in September of last year.

Wisconsin prosecutors filed court documents accusing her of using customer banking information from a local business where she worked to pay her personal bills or to pay bills for Proud American Logistics, a company she co-owned.

According to Us Weekly, a detective from the City of Portage Police Department investigated claims that she was making fraudulent transactions with the company's checking account. If convicted on these charges, she faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

Prior to her arrest for jumping bail, Margaretha had reportedly traveled to Indonesia to bring her son there following her baby's death. She was also arrested in 2023, though those charges were dismissed in November 2024.
