Bobbi Brown: ‘If I could bring something extinct back to life? Blockbuster Video’

Makeup artist and entrepreneur Bobbi Brown has revealed that if she could revive any extinct phenomenon, she would choose Blockbuster Video or S&H Green Stamps. The 68-year-old, who founded Bobbi Brown Essentials and later Jones Road Beauty, shared her thoughts in a recent interview.

Brown, who was named one of Time magazine’s most influential people this year, also discussed her earliest memories of watching her mother apply makeup. She described her mother as 'stunning' and recalled being 'in awe of her beauty and glamour'.

When asked about her most treasured possession, Brown cited her Louis Vuitton trunk, alongside her children and grandchildren. She also expressed a wish to have done more weightlifting than aerobics in the past, stating: 'Strong is better than skinny.'

The author of nine makeup tutorial books and a memoir, Brown noted that the most important lesson life has taught her is: 'You’re more capable than you think.' She also revealed a close brush with death after being hit by a car in her hometown.
