Sinitta has shared a heartfelt plea for Jimmy Bullard to attend the upcoming final of I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, following his emotional departure from the jungle. The 1980s icon reflected on her time with the former footballer, expressing regret that he did not open up to the entire camp about the personal reasons behind his decision to leave.
Sinitta's Touching Tribute
In an Instagram post, Sinitta recalled the joyful moments she shared with Jimmy, including plotting pranks on Harry Redknapp and engaging in water fights. However, she also revealed a deeper connection, as Jimmy confided in her about his father's health during a trial. Sinitta wrote: 'It meant a lot that you opened up to me on the way to this trial and I wish you had been able to tell everyone as then they may have understood why your heart over ruled your head and you needed to go.'
She added: 'I hope your Father is healing. I hope you come to the finals and remember how much fun we all had and how much you are loved by us all.'
Jimmy's Controversial Exit
Jimmy's departure was not without drama. During a challenge, he uttered the famous words 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here,' leaving his partner Adam Thomas furious. Adam, who was paired with Jimmy, faced elimination as a result. The soap star angrily confronted Jimmy, saying: 'Jim don't do this bro. Come on. Is that how we are going out?'
Jimmy's response only escalated the tension, with Adam later calling him a 'p***k' as the situation unfolded. The incident divided viewers, with some supporting Adam's frustration and others understanding Jimmy's personal struggles.
Hope for Reconciliation
Despite the fallout, Sinitta remains hopeful that Jimmy will attend the final on Friday, where the remaining campmates will reunite. She emphasised the fun and camaraderie they shared, urging him to remember the positive moments. The final is set to air this week, with speculation mounting over whether Jimmy will make an appearance.
