Harris Dickinson has named the actor he previously called a 'middle class w*****' after a humiliating on-set encounter. The 28-year-old star, set to play John Lennon in an upcoming Beatles biopic, suggested it was Robert Lindsay during a new interview with The Times.
Dickinson had earlier slammed an unnamed co-star as 'a w*****, middle to upper class' for using social class clichés to describe him during a game on set. When asked what food he was, the actor replied 'fish ’n’ chips', and for a TV show, 'Love Island'.
Fans speculated the culprit might be Ralph Fiennes, but Dickinson dismissed that, calling Fiennes 'a sweetheart'. However, when the name Robert Lindsay was suggested, he exclaimed, 'F***! I’ve been caught!' without further clarification. The Mirror has approached Lindsay's representatives for comment.
Dickinson will appear in Sam Mendes's four-part Beatles film anthology, set for April 2028, alongside Paul Mescal, Barry Keoghan, and Joseph Quinn. He recently starred in Babygirl with Nicole Kidman and The Iron Claw.
