Podcast Remarks on Changing Public Perception
Williams, who co-hosts the podcast with Joanne McNally, opened up about the evolving nature of comments concerning her physical appearance. Her reflections were prompted by paparazzi photographs taken during a family holiday in St. Barths, which showed her wearing a bikini alongside Matthews.
"Do you know what's interesting about it? And I've noticed it this time around," Williams stated. "Like, I haven't put on a load of weight. I've put on a few kilos. I have put on a few kilos, which is totally fine."
Contrasting Past and Present Reactions
She contrasted current reactions with past experiences, noting a significant shift in tone. "When I've been away before, people are like, 'Look at her body, look at her thighs, look at this and that. She's disgusting. Look at her cellulite.'"
Williams observed that the commentary has become "slightly nicer" recently. "This time around... it's actually slightly nicer because I put on a bit of weight and I think that people feel more comfortable seeing you like that or something. Well, certainly the people that are commenting, because the comments are nicer. 'Oh she's put on a bit of weight, she looks better'. But like, yeah, it's just... it's weird."

"The light was shined on my boozing when she fell pregnant with our first born Theodore," Matthews revealed. "He made a big difference to our relationship, because what felt like joint fun became solo fun quite quickly because she stopped drinking completely obviously. And I just didn't I just carried on and it created this divide in the relationship, but also made me realise maybe my drinking habits are not normal."
