Trump's Ozzy Tribute Moves Sharon Osbourne to Tears

Sharon Osbourne was brought to tears after receiving a heartfelt voicemail from former President Donald Trump, a moment the family shared in an emotional new episode of their podcast, The Osbournes.

A Family's Public Grief

In what was the first full-family podcast recording in more than a year, Sharon was joined by her children, Jack and Kelly Osbourne. Together, they reflected on the profound grief they have experienced since the death of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne on July 22, 2025.

Sharon admitted she has been struggling with sleepless nights, confessing she now 'hates going to bed'. Kelly shared her own difficulty, revealing that 'the mornings are the hardest for her' because she momentarily forgets her father is gone.

The Presidential Voicemail

The emotional core of the episode came when the family played a voice note from Donald Trump. In the message, intended for Sharon, the former president said, "Hi, Sharon - it's Donald Trump, and I just wanted to wish you the best and the family. Ozzy was amazing - he was an amazing guy."

He continued, "I met him a few times and I wanna tell you he was unique in every way and talented." Trump concluded by offering his support, saying, "So I just wanted to wish you the best and it's a tough thing, I know how close you were, and whatever I can do - take care of yourself, say hello to the family."

A Gesture of Respect

This personal touch from the former president clearly resonated deeply with Sharon. She became emotional upon hearing it and later told her children, "The thing is all I know is he has treated me with respect, your father with respect. He wanted nothing from us - nothing. Melania, the same, nothing."

Her son, Jack Osbourne—who has since joined the cast of I'm A Celebrity—weighed in with a sentiment that many could relate to, regardless of political affiliation. He stated, "Love him or hate him, he didn't have to call and leave a voicemail."

The family also discussed how the widespread public mourning for the Paranoid hitmaker has been 'so helpful' to them, though Sharon admitted she doesn't believe Ozzy would have ever realised how much he meant to his legions of fans. The couple had been married for 43 years.
