Robin Windsor was discovered deceased at the Hoxton Hotel in Shepherd's Bush, London, on February 19, 2024. At the time of his death, toxicology reports revealed that Windsor had a blood alcohol level exceeding twice the legal drink-drive limit and had also ingested the drug GBL.

A ten-person jury concluded that Windsor had "completed suicide," attributing this tragic outcome to "an accumulation of many attributes to depression." The jury forewoman elaborated in court, stating that Windsor had endured childhood trauma and was particularly vulnerable to emotional and professional rejection.

A separate message to his ex-partner, Ollie Augstin, whom Windsor had separated from the previous year, emphasized, "I need you to understand, this is not your fault!"
