According to a well-placed source speaking to People magazine, Elizabeth filed for divorce from Borchert "in the last few days". The insider described the separation as "rather fresh" and noted that Elizabeth now desires more freedom in her life. The 52-year-old actress, who currently resides in South Africa, appears to have confirmed the end of her marriage by updating her relationship status on Facebook. Elizabeth and Borchert, a South African wildlife conservationist, met in 2015 through her environmental activism and married in 2021.
